I’ve always loved crows. Maybe for their intelligence, maybe for their mysterious and mischievous ways. I’ve always found them fascinating.
There is a lot of mythology surrounding crows and ravens. Since ancient times they have been associated with magical things. And they are a reminder that magic is all around us.
I titled this work ‘Alchemical Crow’ because I really wanted to capture the sense of mystery they hold for me. Alchemy is defined as the process of taking something ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary, sometimes in a way that cannot be explained.
